⚒️ Preparación y montaje
Instale la carpa sobre terreno elevado, lejos de árboles con nieve acumulada en las ramas y de llamas expuestas.
Procure instalar el campamento antes del anochecer.
Para mantener la carpa limpia, recomendamos usar una lona protectora para suelo debajo.
Con vientos fuertes, asegure la carpa con vientos adicionales.
Use la cubierta impermeable incluida para protegerse de la lluvia, la nieve y la luz solar. Si es necesario, puede crear un toldo con varillas (se venden por separado), aunque en este caso solo se cubrirá la mitad de la carpa.
🌡️ Rango de temperatura
Temperatura de funcionamiento: de -10 °C a +40 °C (14 °F a 104 °F).
Condiciones de uso en climas fríos: después de usarla por debajo de 0 °C (32 °F), seque completamente la carpa en un espacio interior cálido y seco antes de guardarla.
En climas fríos, los materiales de PVC se vuelven rígidos: el suelo y las vigas de aire se endurecen, lo que dificulta doblarla. Esto no es un defecto.
Para dormir cómodamente, use sacos de dormir con la clasificación adecuada y colchonetas aislantes.
🔥 Calefacción y aislamiento
La carpa cuenta con una abertura especial para la chimenea de estufas de leña. Use siempre estufas con apagachispas. También se permiten calentadores eléctricos seguros. Las llamas expuestas están prohibidas.
Mantenga una ventilación adecuada para evitar la acumulación de monóxido de carbono.
Si está disponible, use la pared divisoria para ayudar a conservar el calor en el área para dormir.
Mantenga cerradas las ventanas de TPU para conservar el calor y ábralas únicamente para ventilar.
Aísle el suelo con tapetes, cobijas o un revestimiento adicional.
💨 Presión de aire y estructura
En condiciones de congelación, la presión dentro de las vigas inflables disminuye. Revísela regularmente y agregue aire si es necesario.

💧 Condensación y humedad

🌧 Protección contra la lluvia y la nieve
Con lluvia moderada, la carpa protege contra el agua durante 4–5 horas (según la intensidad). Con lluvia ligera o intermitente, no es necesario usar la cubierta impermeable.
En caso de lluvia prolongada, debe usar la cubierta impermeable incluida.
Después de la lluvia, retire la cubierta impermeable para permitir la ventilación y evitar la condensación.
Puede colocar previamente la cubierta impermeable o mantenerla enrollada en el borde de la carpa para usarla rápidamente si se esperan lluvias prolongadas.
En caso de nevada, use siempre la cubierta impermeable de inmediato. La acumulación de nieve sobre la tela aumenta el riesgo de filtraciones de humedad.
Retire regularmente la nieve del techo de la carpa.
Si las cremalleras se congelan, caliéntelas con las manos o con agua; nunca las fuerce.
Después de usar la carpa en invierno, séquela completamente antes de guardarla.
📦 Empaque y almacenamiento
Recuerde: en climas fríos, el suelo de PVC y la tela se endurecen y se doblan con menos facilidad.
Desinfle completamente la carpa antes de empacarla.
Séquela en un lugar bien ventilado y guárdela únicamente cuando esté completamente seca.
🧹 Cuidado y uso
Evite usar zapatos dentro de la carpa.
Mantenga los objetos afilados alejados del suelo y las paredes.
Proteja la carpa de sustancias inflamables y ácidos.
Mantenga la carpa limpia: el moho y la exposición prolongada a los rayos UV reducen su vida útil.
Evite la exposición directa prolongada al sol; use la cubierta impermeable cuando sea necesario.
⚠️ Seguridad contra incendios
Tenga cuidado con los aparatos eléctricos.
Mantenga las salidas despejadas para usarlas en caso de emergencia.

I did a lot of camping in my youth and young adulthood and in those days we referred to camping as roughing it. Well, there is no roughing it when camping with the Koala-7 tent. I recently purchased the tent along with its carpet, Coody air pump, Caminus M wood stove, and 3 twin air mattresses. All of the Coody products I purchased were well designed, functioned as advertised, and the materials were of high quality. I'm 6'7" and fit well inside the tent. I loved all of the natural light that poured through the windows, skylights and doors when not covered. I've never been so close to nature inside a tent. I've also never had a camping experience that was so easy and comfortable. Despite the tent's size, I was able to set it up all by myself. And the service Coody provided was outstanding. Any questions or issues I had were addressed with 24 hours of sending my email. I can highly recommend the Coody products I purchased.
Solves my Thanksgiving guest load problem
We downsized after our children left the nest, but Thanksgiving is our annual hosting event and getting everybody their space has proved an increasing challenge. This year I decided to add a temporary suite - the Koala 7. It is up on our patio, glamped out with Persian rugs and a stored queen-sized bed with headboard, sofa, recliner, cot, electric space heaters, nightstands, table lamps, etc (pics from set up phase). My wife and I test slept in it last night...good to go! Everybody who has seen it so far has been very impressed with the tent.
Great tent
So far so good unfortunately in Florida it gets hot. It was 94 outside. Who knows what it was in the tent over 100 probably got a box fan but had to call it quits as I lost 10 pounds in two days.

This is my 2nd tent from rbm the first was Koala 5. Took it deer and elk hunting this last year and it was the perfect hunting tent will be doing the Coody 17.2 this year with the bigger size I hope it will be as great of an experience. As far as the tent size and the way the tent is set up it is absolutely perfect. I love the doors and length of the new tent. Will let you know how it does this winter during elk camp.
This tent is phenomenal! With an electric pump, its up in 10 minutes. Amazing quality, stitching, and the air chambers are VERY tough and durable. For me It is worth it. This is the best tent I have owned, and I've had nearly 20 tents in my lifetime.

AMAZING tent and company
We inflated it for a test run at home. Had it up four weeks without air loss! It rained and wind blew! The tent stayed dry and secure. Our tent bag was torn and stove bag missing though. Olga from customer service handled it with professionalism and grace! We received the replacements today! Things can happen with any product, but how the company handles it is what matters. I have recommended the tent and company to others and my family, and they will probably be getting their tent next summer! Good job RBM!
Far exceeded my expectations!
So far it is been great! I have set it up to see what all was included and to test everything. This weekend we will be camping at the grand canyon with it, cannot wait!!!
Excellent tent. Set up in the yard just to check it out. It went up super easy but it is heavy so you.ll need help. Great quality although in videos I ve seen it shows the rbm logo on the out side mine doesn t have that and it has a lot of Chinese writing on all of the tags. I was expecting something made in America I guess. Also the pump doesn t have a deflate function and getting the air out and it folded back correctly to fit in the bag was a nightmare.. we managed after getting an air mattress pump to help deflate. Overall 8 out of 10 only because of the pump and it s made in china..
