Your Privacy Choices

Applies to: hot-tent.com (operated by RBM Trading LLC)
Effective date: August 11, 2026

This page explains the privacy choices available to you when you interact with our Site, our advertising links, redirect and tracking domains operated on our behalf, and related storefronts. It works together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy — please read those documents for the full detail behind the choices described here.

If any term on this page isn’t defined here, it has the meaning given to it in our Privacy Policy.

Access, correct, or delete your personal information See Section 5

2. Opt Out of Sale or Sharing of Personal Information

Like most businesses that advertise online, we use advertising identifiers (such as click IDs and cookie- or pixel-based identifiers) in connection with third-party advertising platforms — for example, to measure ad performance and to show you more relevant ads across the web. Under California law (CPRA) and similar state privacy laws, this activity may be classified as a “sale” and/or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We treat it as both, and the opt-out described below covers both.

When you submit an opt-out request, here is what we do:

  • We stop making your identifiers (such as click IDs and cookie- or pixel-based identifiers) available to advertising platforms for cross-context advertising purposes going forward.
  • We take steps to stop using your identifiers for cross-context advertising — which may include disabling or limiting the relevant advertising cookies, pixels, and server-side ad measurement associated with your request.
  • We do not disable cookies or processing that are strictly necessary to operate the Site, complete your transactions, prevent fraud, or comply with the law — these are not considered a “sale” or “sharing” under applicable law.

Hashed contact information (such as a pseudonymized email) is used within our own systems for order attribution and, where server-side ad measurement (the Meta Conversions API) is active, may be transmitted to the advertising platform in hashed form as a matching key (see our Privacy Policy).

How to opt out:

  • Use our Your Privacy Choices opt-out page — click “Opt out” and the browser on that device is opted out immediately. Tick the box and enter your email to opt out the account linked to that address as well. In the states where an opt-out link is required, this page is also linked from the footer of every page;
  • or email us at info@hot-tent.com with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share”, including the email address you use with us so we can locate your records;
  • or call us at +1 302 353 4449.

We will process your opt-out request within 15 business days of receipt (or as otherwise required by applicable law), and the opt-out will remain in effect until you tell us otherwise. An opt-out made through the opt-out page applies to the browser and device you used, and is stored on that device — if you clear your cookies, switch browser or use another device, repeat it there. An opt-out you submit by email or phone, or one made on the opt-out page with your email address entered, is applied to the records we hold under that email address and is not affected by clearing cookies.

Opting out of sharing does not stop all advertising to you — you may still see ads from us or others; they will simply not be based on cross-context tracking tied to your identifiers through our systems.

3. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control (GPC)

We recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid opt-out preference signal. If you visit the Site with GPC enabled in your browser or browser extension, we treat it as a request to opt out of the “sale” and “sharing” of personal information for that browser and apply it automatically in the states where this is required — you do not need to take any further action. To have the opt-out applied to your account or email address across devices, use the opt-out page or contact us as described in Section 2.

We do not currently alter our data practices in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals, as no uniform standard for such signals exists.

Learn more about Global Privacy Control at globalprivacycontrol.org.

4. Cookie Management

You have several ways to control cookies and similar technologies:

  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. Because our Site relies on certain cookies to function properly (for example, to keep items in your cart), blocking all cookies may affect your shopping experience.
  • Our Cookie Policy. See our Cookie Policy for a full list of the cookies and identifiers we use, what each one does, how long it lasts, and whether it is required for the Site to work.
  • Third-party opt-outs. You can also manage certain advertising cookies directly through the advertising networks themselves (for example, via their account ad-preference settings) or through industry opt-out tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance’s portal at optout.aboutads.info.

We show a cookie notice when you first visit the Site, but we do not ask for opt-in consent before the cookies described in our Cookie Policy are set — dismissing the notice does not change which cookies are used. The browser controls above, together with Sections 2 and 3, are how you exercise choice over their use.

5. Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request that we:

  • Disclose the categories and/or specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collection, and the categories of third parties with whom we’ve shared it (in the preceding 12 months);
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you;
  • Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions (for example, information we must keep for accounting, tax, warranty, fraud-prevention, or other legal purposes);
  • Obtain a copy (portability) of the personal information you provided to us, in a portable and, to the extent technically feasible, readily usable format; or
  • Opt out of sale/sharing (see Section 2).

See our Privacy Policy’s “U.S. State Privacy Rights” section for the full list of rights available under your state’s law (including California CCPA/CPRA and, where applicable, other state privacy laws), and the “Canada” section for PIPEDA/Quebec Law 25 rights.

How to submit a request:

Email us from the address associated with your order, at info@hot-tent.com, or call +1 302 353 4449.

Please include your order number (or, if you don’t have one, your name and the email/phone number used when browsing or ordering) so we can locate and verify your information.

Verification. To protect your information from fraudulent requests, we will verify your identity before completing most requests — typically by matching the email address or order details you provide against our order records. For requests to delete or disclose sensitive categories of information, we may require additional verification steps.

Response time. We will confirm receipt of your request within 10 business days and will respond substantively within 45 days, as required by the CCPA and similar state laws. If we need more time, we will notify you and may extend this period by up to an additional 45 days (90 days total), explaining the reason for the delay.

Frequency. You may submit a verifiable request to know (disclosure request) up to twice in a 12-month period free of charge. Other requests are also free of charge; however, if any request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee or decline to act on it, as permitted by law.

Non-discrimination. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights — for example, we will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you submitted a privacy request or opted out of sale/sharing.

6. Marketing Email Opt-Out

If you no longer want to receive marketing emails from us, you can:

  • Click the “Unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of any marketing email we send you, or
  • Email info@hot-tent.com and ask to be removed from our marketing list.

Opting out of marketing emails does not opt you out of transactional or order-related communications (such as order confirmations, shipping updates, or customer-service replies), which we will continue to send as needed to service your purchase.

7. Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent (for example, a person or a registered business entity) to submit a request on your behalf. To do so:

  • The agent must provide us with signed written permission from you demonstrating that they are authorized to act on your behalf, or proof of power of attorney; and
  • We may still require you to directly verify your own identity with us, or directly confirm with us that you provided the agent permission to submit the request.

We may deny a request from an agent that does not submit sufficient proof of authorization.

8. Appeal Process

If we decline to act on your request, in whole or in part, or if you disagree with our response, you may appeal our decision by emailing info@hot-tent.com with the subject line “Privacy Appeal” and a brief explanation of your appeal. We will respond to your appeal within 45 days of receipt (extendable by an additional 45 days for complex appeals, with notice to you).

If your appeal is denied, and where applicable under your state’s law, you may have the right to contact your state Attorney General or another applicable regulator to submit a complaint.

(Canadian residents: if you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, for Quebec residents, the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.)

9. Children

Our Site is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will take steps to delete it.
