FAQ

  • Coody tents use an integrated inflatable PVC air frame instead of a conventional main pole frame. Current models use breathable 210 gsm Terylene Cotton fabric made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton. Coody offers different sizes, floor layouts, window-panel systems, and connection options for family camping, glamping, and modular multi-tent setups.

  • Depending on the model, setup takes approximately 5-10 minutes. One adult can set up and deflate the tent using the included manual pump and valves. Large and heavy models, especially Coody 13.6 and 17.2, are easier to fold and return to their storage bags with two people.

  • Inflate the air frame to 6-8 psi with a pressure gauge. A manual pump with a gauge is included with every current Coody tent. The Coody 133P portable electric pump is compatible with all current Coody tents and is sold separately. A third-party pump or compressor may be used if it has a compatible pump adapter and allows accurate pressure control. The pressure-relief valve provides additional protection, but you must still monitor the gauge and never intentionally exceed 8 psi.

  • Current Coody inflatable tents have been tested for wind resistance up to 72 km/h (45 mph). The tent body has a waterproof rating of PU2000+, while the included 420D Oxford rainfly is rated PU3000+. Current models also provide UPF 50+ UV protection. These ratings describe tested product performance; actual protection also depends on correct setup, anchoring, maintenance, and weather severity.

  • Floor construction varies by model and may use PVC, Oxford fabric, or a combination of both. Some models have removable floor sections, while others have fixed sections. Check the individual product page for the exact floor material and configuration before choosing a tent.

  • Every current Coody tent includes a manual pump with a pressure gauge, a rainfly, pegs, guy lines, storage bags, and a repair kit. The repair kit includes patch material, adhesive, and a brush. TPU window panels, door panels, wall panels, and their quantities vary by model, so the Package contents section on the exact product page is the final reference.

  • Carpets and external PVC ground sheets are sold separately from the standard tent package. Some clearly identified bundles include a carpet, a PVC ground sheet, or both. Compatibility is model-specific, so choose these accessories by the exact tent model rather than approximate dimensions.

  • Selected Coody tents can be joined with dedicated zipper-to-zipper connectors. Compatibility depends on the opening size and product family:

    - The 3.6-to-3.6 connector joins any pair from Coody 10.0, 13.6, 17.2, and Hub
    - The 3.2-to-3.6 connector joins Coody 8.0 to Coody 10.0, 13.6, 17.2, or Hub
    - The Pro 3.6-to-3.6 connector joins any pair from Coody 10.0 Pro, 17.2 Pro, and Hub Pro
    - The Aurora Dome-to-3.6 connector joins Coody Aurora to Coody 10.0, 13.6, 17.2, or Hub
    - The Aurora Dome-to-3.2 connector joins Coody Aurora to Coody 8.0
    - The Aurora Dome-to-Dome connector joins two Coody Aurora tents
    - Coody Bestona connects only to Coody Yustona, which is not currently offered in our assortment

Connection openings also vary by model: Coody 8.0 has 2, Coody 10.0 has 2, Coody 10.0 Pro has 2, Coody 13.6 has 1, Coody 17.2 has 1, Coody 17.2 Pro has 2, Coody Hub has 4, Coody Hub Pro has 2, and Coody Aurora has 1 confirmed connection opening. Connectors are sold separately for Coody 8.0, 10.0, 10.0 Pro, 13.6, 17.2, 17.2 Pro, Hub Pro, and Aurora. Coody Hub includes one connector.

A dedicated 3.6-to-3.6 Pro connector for joining the standard and Pro groups is planned for our assortment but is not currently available. Standard and Pro connectors are different, so neither current connector should be substituted for the planned cross-group connector.

  • Yes. Every current Coody inflatable tent includes a dedicated stove jack. Its diameter and position vary by model, so check the exact product page before selecting a stove or chimney system.

  • On models equipped with a utility sleeve, the sleeve is a physical pass-through for a hose from a portable air conditioner or heater. An electrical-cord opening, where listed for the model, allows an extension cord to enter the tent. These openings do not supply electricity and do not include an air conditioner, heater, or extension cord. The number and location of openings vary by model.

Inflatable Camping Tent Open up New Camping Horizons

Self-inflatable tents make up a new category of dwelling facilities for campers. One thing that distinguishes them from traditional products with poles is that their frames consist of air beams. They do not feature metal or fiberglass frames. Blow up tents are taking up a decent niche in the market, mostly because they are very handy and offer easy setup. These camping tent huts are increasingly popular in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, NZ, etc.

Why buy Blow up Air Tent ?

These best inflatable tents are perfect for glamping and family camping. Thanks to built-in inflatable beams, each tent inflatable setup is fast and hassle-free—no metal poles required. This makes every blow up tent lightweight, compact, and easy to transport. Just bring a pump, plus pegs and guy ropes to keep the structure stable in windy weather.

Modern blow up tents for camping come in spacious designs that fit families of 5–6 people comfortably. Packed in compact bags, they fit easily in a car trunk, making them ideal for road trips, weekend getaways, and outdoor retreats. Whether you're setting up a cozy airtent in the forest or enjoying a lakeside view, these shelters bring comfort and style to the outdoors.

Each air tent for camping is crafted from durable, water-resistant materials like polyurethane. While they need proper care and storage, they’re easier to repair than traditional tents. Most come with a repair kit, allowing quick fixes for small punctures—so your inflatable shelter stays reliable throughout the trip.

Why not buy Inflatable Tent for Adults ?

As mentioned above, self-inflatable tents for camping are made of sturdy and durable materials. This makes them a little more expensive than those that use traditional frames.

So far, there is no standard pump for all air-beam huts: different manufacturers come up with their own specific valve types, which require a specific type of pump. You may have difficulty finding an appropriate pump if you lose it.

Once blown up, your portable home can stand solid for several days. However, you should keep track of the temperature outside. A sudden temperature drop will cause it to deflate, while a warming can cause overinflation. In the latter case, the consequences can be serious, because overpressure can cause the inflatable frame to burst beyond repair. For this reason, it is advisable to follow weather forecasts and depressurize the frame in case of a dramatic temperature increase.

Peg it properly, so it will remain standing in case the wind blows hard. Your kit should include high-quality stakes, pegs, and guy ropes to ensure stability in any weather.

Airtent for Adults – The Smarter Way to Camp

A quality inflatable tent for adults is durable, weather-resistant, and quick to set up. Air up tents for camping cost more than traditional tents due to sturdy materials and integrated air beams.

Keep in mind that automatic inflatable tents use different valve types, so replacing a lost pump can be tricky. Always bring the right pump to avoid issues.

Once inflated, your camping tent blow up can stay firm for days. But watch for temperature changes: cold can deflate it, and heat can cause overinflation, risking damage. If it gets hot, reduce air pressure in your automatic inflatable tent house.

To keep your tent for camping with stove secure, use strong stakes, pegs, and guy ropes. Whether you're using canvas hot tents with wood stove or glamping in nature, proper setup ensures comfort and safety.

Waterproofing is one of the most important criteria of quality. Look for a properly insulated canopy with properly glued seams and a hydrostatic rainfly. Be sure that vents and electric hookup outlets are designed in such a way as not to let rainwater in.

Size and capacity matter when choosing canvas tents for camping. Consider how many people will join you and use the +1 rule. For example, if you're a family of four, it’s smarter to go with an extra large family camping tent designed for five people. It ensures comfort for everyone and leaves extra room for your gear. When browsing large camping tents, choose models with a vestibule and enough storage pockets, so your equipment stays organized and doesn’t clutter the main living area.

Before buying a nature hike inflatable tent or any other camping tent, make sure the frame is made from durable materials. Always follow the manufacturer’s guidelines to avoid damage, and check that a repair kit is included in the package.

Many luxury tents for camping and glamping tents for camping offer divided bedroom areas—perfect for families with kids or teens. Choose a tent with two doors to allow easier access and minimize disruption during the night.

In warm weather, ventilation is key. A quality family tent should have mesh panels, vent holes, or windows to prevent condensation and mildew. This extends the life of your tents for camping or canvas wall tent.

Also, make sure there's enough headroom. Premium inflatable dome house RBM and Coody Tents often allow adults to stand upright comfortably, adding to the livability and overall comfort.

If you are planning cold weather camping trips, you may want to heat your tent for wood stove. In this case, you should know how to use it properly and take precautions. Make sure the stove area is equipped with heat-resistant mats and follow safety instructions. Keep control over the pressure inside the air beams, as pressure may grow dramatically if it gets really hot.

Manufacturers strive to follow industry standards while addressing individual preferences by creating versatile solutions. For example, there are inflatable canopy tents with transparent walls, perfect for those who enjoy peaceful moments outdoors and want to share the joy of a relaxing weekend. Some models resemble an inflatable outdoor house, offering extra space and comfort. Others focus on practicality and protection, like a durable inflatable shelter designed for quick setup and reliable coverage.
