⚒️ Préparation et installation
Installez la tente sur un terrain surélevé, à l’écart des arbres chargés de neige dont les branches surplombent la zone et des flammes nues.
Essayez d’installer le campement avant la tombée de la nuit.
Pour garder la tente propre, nous recommandons d’utiliser une toile de sol en dessous.
Par vent fort, sécurisez la tente avec des haubans supplémentaires.
Utilisez le double-toit inclus pour vous protéger de la pluie, de la neige et du soleil. Si nécessaire, vous pouvez créer un auvent avec des arceaux (vendus séparément), mais dans ce cas, seule la moitié de la tente sera couverte.
🌡️ Plage de températures
Température de fonctionnement : de -10 °C à +40 °C (14 °F à 104 °F).
Conditions d’utilisation par temps froid : après une utilisation à moins de 0 °C (32 °F), séchez complètement la tente dans un espace intérieur chaud et sec avant de la ranger.
Par temps froid, les matériaux en PVC deviennent rigides : le sol et les boudins gonflables se raidissent, ce qui rend le pliage plus difficile. Il ne s’agit pas d’un défaut.
Pour dormir confortablement, utilisez des sacs de couchage adaptés à la température et des matelas isolants.
🔥 Chauffage et isolation
Une ouverture spécifique pour le conduit de cheminée est prévue pour les poêles à bois. Utilisez toujours des poêles équipés d’un pare-étincelles. Les chauffages électriques sûrs sont également acceptables. Les flammes nues sont interdites.
Assurez une ventilation adéquate pour éviter l’accumulation de monoxyde de carbone.
Si elle est disponible, utilisez la cloison pour aider à conserver la chaleur dans l’espace de couchage.
Gardez les fenêtres en TPU fermées pour préserver la chaleur et ne les ouvrez que pour ventiler.
Isolez le sol avec des tapis, des couvertures ou une doublure supplémentaire.
💨 Pression d’air et structure
Par temps de gel, la pression à l’intérieur des boudins gonflables diminue : vérifiez-la régulièrement et regonflez-les si nécessaire.
Assurez-vous que toutes les valves sont bien fermées.
💧 Condensation et humidité
La condensation est un phénomène naturel, semblable à la buée sur les vitres d’une voiture. Plus l’imperméabilisation du tissu est élevée, plus elle risque de se produire.
Grâce au coton Terylene respirant, la condensation à l’intérieur de nos tentes est minimale.
– Laissez les aérations légèrement ouvertes.
– Augmentez progressivement la température pour éviter un chauffage soudain.
– Utilisez une toile de sol sous la tente.
– Choisissez un terrain sec lorsque cela est possible.
– Séchez toujours complètement la tente avant de la ranger.
🌧 Protection contre la pluie et la neige
Sous une pluie modérée, la tente protège de l’eau pendant 4 à 5 heures, selon l’intensité. Sous une pluie légère ou intermittente, le double-toit n’est pas nécessaire.
En cas de pluie prolongée, le double-toit inclus doit être utilisé.
Après la pluie, retirez le double-toit pour permettre la ventilation et éviter la condensation.
Vous pouvez fixer le double-toit à l’avance ou le garder roulé au bord de la tente pour le déployer rapidement si des averses prolongées sont prévues.
En cas de chute de neige, utilisez toujours immédiatement le double-toit. L’accumulation de neige sur le tissu augmente le risque de pénétration de l’humidité.
Retirez régulièrement la neige du toit de la tente.
Si les fermetures à glissière gèlent, réchauffez-les avec vos mains ou de l’eau : ne forcez jamais.
Après une utilisation hivernale, séchez soigneusement la tente avant de la ranger.
📦 Pliage et rangement
N’oubliez pas que par temps froid, le sol et le tissu en PVC se raidissent et se plient moins facilement.
Dégonflez complètement la tente avant de la plier.
Séchez-la dans un endroit bien ventilé et rangez-la uniquement lorsqu’elle est complètement sèche.
🧹 Entretien et utilisation
Évitez de porter des chaussures à l’intérieur de la tente.
Tenez les objets tranchants éloignés du sol et des parois.
Protégez la tente des substances inflammables et des acides.
Maintenez-la propre : les moisissures et une exposition prolongée aux rayons UV réduisent sa durée de vie.
Évitez l’exposition directe prolongée au soleil ; utilisez le double-toit si nécessaire.
⚠️ Sécurité incendie
Soyez prudent avec les appareils électriques.
Gardez les sorties dégagées pour pouvoir les utiliser en cas d’urgence.
Gardez un extincteur ou un autre outil de lutte contre l’incendie à proximité.
Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer avec des feux d’artifice près de la tente.

I did a lot of camping in my youth and young adulthood and in those days we referred to camping as roughing it. Well, there is no roughing it when camping with the Koala-7 tent. I recently purchased the tent along with its carpet, Coody air pump, Caminus M wood stove, and 3 twin air mattresses. All of the Coody products I purchased were well designed, functioned as advertised, and the materials were of high quality. I'm 6'7" and fit well inside the tent. I loved all of the natural light that poured through the windows, skylights and doors when not covered. I've never been so close to nature inside a tent. I've also never had a camping experience that was so easy and comfortable. Despite the tent's size, I was able to set it up all by myself. And the service Coody provided was outstanding. Any questions or issues I had were addressed with 24 hours of sending my email. I can highly recommend the Coody products I purchased.
Solves my Thanksgiving guest load problem
We downsized after our children left the nest, but Thanksgiving is our annual hosting event and getting everybody their space has proved an increasing challenge. This year I decided to add a temporary suite - the Koala 7. It is up on our patio, glamped out with Persian rugs and a stored queen-sized bed with headboard, sofa, recliner, cot, electric space heaters, nightstands, table lamps, etc (pics from set up phase). My wife and I test slept in it last night...good to go! Everybody who has seen it so far has been very impressed with the tent.
Great tent
So far so good unfortunately in Florida it gets hot. It was 94 outside. Who knows what it was in the tent over 100 probably got a box fan but had to call it quits as I lost 10 pounds in two days.

This is my 2nd tent from rbm the first was Koala 5. Took it deer and elk hunting this last year and it was the perfect hunting tent will be doing the Coody 17.2 this year with the bigger size I hope it will be as great of an experience. As far as the tent size and the way the tent is set up it is absolutely perfect. I love the doors and length of the new tent. Will let you know how it does this winter during elk camp.
This tent is phenomenal! With an electric pump, its up in 10 minutes. Amazing quality, stitching, and the air chambers are VERY tough and durable. For me It is worth it. This is the best tent I have owned, and I've had nearly 20 tents in my lifetime.

AMAZING tent and company
We inflated it for a test run at home. Had it up four weeks without air loss! It rained and wind blew! The tent stayed dry and secure. Our tent bag was torn and stove bag missing though. Olga from customer service handled it with professionalism and grace! We received the replacements today! Things can happen with any product, but how the company handles it is what matters. I have recommended the tent and company to others and my family, and they will probably be getting their tent next summer! Good job RBM!
Far exceeded my expectations!
So far it is been great! I have set it up to see what all was included and to test everything. This weekend we will be camping at the grand canyon with it, cannot wait!!!
Excellent tent. Set up in the yard just to check it out. It went up super easy but it is heavy so you.ll need help. Great quality although in videos I ve seen it shows the rbm logo on the out side mine doesn t have that and it has a lot of Chinese writing on all of the tags. I was expecting something made in America I guess. Also the pump doesn t have a deflate function and getting the air out and it folded back correctly to fit in the bag was a nightmare.. we managed after getting an air mattress pump to help deflate. Overall 8 out of 10 only because of the pump and it s made in china..
