It is, indeed, possible, if you bring sleeping bags with you. If you plan on sleeping in camping beds, however, the tent will be able to fit up to 4 people. The tent is quite spacious and is a great choice for a camping getaway. However, if you need more personal space to be comfortable, and are going to camp in a large group, we would suggest taking a look at some of our bigger tents.
UP-5 is an all-season tent, which is designed to withstand extremely cold weather conditions. It provides great insulation, even in the lowest temperatures. We recorded 82°+ F inside UP-5 when the temperature outside was as low as 22°- F. On the other hand, in the summer the tent can serve as a shelter from the sun.

My only complaint is that it was extremely difficult popping this up the first time. Took several tries, even using the rope/foot trick. I’m hoping it gets easier with use???
Highly Recommended! I am in love! This is not a joke, I spend ALOT of time in the mountains, up until now it has been a "embrace the suck" experience. This tent is a luxury!! Its HUGE! Great product I ordered the complete set, the Up5 with the Caminus M and also the insulated floor. I received everything in 2 separate deliveries, and was all here in less than 3 weeks. I have done the initial burn-off of the stove, and have to say the quality looks impressive. I have done a dry run setting up the tent to make sure everything works, and it was all as advertised. I will do a further review at a later date, as I am planning to use this equipment in cold weather this winter. Being from central Manitoba in Canada, I am very impressed in what I received. Well done RBM.

Great tent High quality double layer hot tent
Great winter tent Great tent for winter. Sure kept us warm, quite often had to get the stove right down because the tent holds heat so well. We also left it out for a big part of the winter, and it handled any snow load we had very well. Lots of room. Would highly recommend!
Incredible tent that still packs up for easy transportation This is an amazing tent, easy to setup and plenty roomy for 4-5 people with the stove inside. First time we used it, temps were in the single digits (F) and this tent helped to keep everyone warm and dry. It is the little things that count - the door, the vents, the floor, the reinforced seams. Looking forward to using this tent for years to come.

Best tent ever - Amazing shelter for serious cold weather! I purchased the UP-5 as a four season hot tent and used it this winter with a small wood stove. The tent with stove jack worked flawlessly, heat held inside even when temperatures dropped well below zero. The double-wall construction and heavy-duty fabric feel like top-tier build.

Great tent, even better customer service This tent is so well thought out. You can tell they put the time into designing this tent. I got the tent from -10 degrees C to 23 C in about 12 minutes. I had a couple small holes in the tent when I set it up for the first time and they could have been from me lifting the tent wrong. Make sure to have all the material stretched out properly before erecting. Customer service was great and they resolved any issues very promptly. Highly recommend this tent. Keep in mind - this is not a lightweight backcountry tent. But that wasn't why I bought this tent. At this price point it would be nice to have the triple layer floor included Thanks RBM
UP-5 Nice Tent, but needs to be opened a few times to work in the opening mechanism. Would like to see the stove jack capable of receiving larger stove pipes.

Excellent tent It is an amazing 4 season tent. I mainly use it for hunting season in very cold weather and it performs so good with the wood stove and the three layer floor.
Sturdy, spacious and winter-ready This is a real heavy duty 4 season tent. Set it up alone in about 10 minutes, then ran a wood stove through the built-in stove jack�the hot tent winter camping experience was excellent. Plenty of room for four adults and gear without feeling cramped.
Best tent ever Quality camping experience. If you are looking for a four season tent with stove jack, this is it. The UP-5 handled strong winds and heavy snow without issue. The inner liner and outer shell kept condensation at bay and the frame is rock solid.
Eighty year old loves the UP 5 My experience has been great! I am eighty years old and knew I would not be able to set the tent up like younger guys on YouTube so I purchased a pole jack and modified the top pad to cradle the umbrella pole in the UP 5. It works perfectly. I love the tent.
Great quality tent I have not used it in real camping, but setup in my driveway and did a check, pretty good quality. The only problem is that I bought another stove, not from RBM, which has 3.5 inch pipe, the pipe is exactly the same size as tent stove jack, so the pipe cannot go through.
Heavy duty - does connect to vestibule Camped in 36 degrees F weather stayed warm at 82 degrees F in the tent. We connected the large vestibule to the up5 tent using the mini vestibule that comes with the up 5 tent. It connects using Velcro tabs and you can also use tie downs for the vestibule door layers. We also had the insulated floor for the up 5 tent but can�t find the insulated floor for the vestibule yet. Been over a year. Great product!
Great tent. Love to order the three layer floor when they are available again. This tent heats up fast and is great in high winds. Lots of tie downs. I expect this tent will last for many years to come.

UP-5 First Impressions Greetings everyone! I will try to keep this focused as I recently received my order for the UP-5 model tent and the Caminus-M stove from RBM Outdoors, and I wanted to post a review on first impressions. I ordered this tent and stove; after going without power during a winter storm for six days earlier in the year (2022). Critical points for me were ease of setup, space, and quality material worth the investment. I wanted to ensure the family and our dogs had a warm environment that could handle below-freezing temps should the situation occur again. The first thing I truly appreciated was the wooden container for the Caminus stove; this provided a reliable stove delivery without any noticeable damage. Being the stove is a critical risk for any hot tent; solid components void of any damage are instrumental in a safe and warm tent. The shipping was smooth and arrived several days before the intended date; this was a stroke of luck as the weather would vary from cold to cold and rainy the following days. The initial setup was easier than expected; the shipping box with the tent was nearly the size of a Ford tailgate, and initial staging for setup shows a basic height comparison next to a Ford F-150. The umbrella concept to open the tent was an intelligent configuration. Since I am short, I could brace two thick posts against the main bar and pull down, opening the tent quickly. Setup was a breeze, and the stove setup was just as easy (Multiple YouTube videos helped any learning curve). I will say having the option to purchase a 90-degree angle pipe, or adjustable neck would help (short people) set up the smoke pipe with a deflector. The first evening was a breeze; the stove put out some excellent heat, and the double-lined tent retained the heat well. I recommend a heat fan that you can place on the stove-top to push air circularly. I also added a secondary heat mat for peace of mind for any coals, or embers that could accidentally fall/pop out. 3rd night was some heavy rain, and a slight leak developed along the stitching of the 2nd layer, which allowed water to flow down onto the seam for the first clip on the inside of the tent near the rear door having water drop onto the cot. Nothing significant and easy to fix compared to some canvas tents I�ve previously dealt with. Unsure of repairs to the outside 2nd layer during the heavy wet period we are in right now, but this is not a show stopper, and I�ve had worst drips sleeping in a hammock setup under a poncho in the rain. The overall impression is this is a monster of a tent; the heat is more than sufficient, and it heats quickly while setup was a breeze and nothing so complicated to cause frustration even to those who never really send time out in the woods camping.

up 5 tent We used the UP-5 as a hot tent with stove jack for a winter family outing. The space easily fit a wood stove, two cots and gear, and stayed warm all night. The quality�zippers, pockets, fabric�is far above my previous tents. Great 100% happy locking forward to buying more from you.
Super fast shipping, easy setup I did a lot of research on which tent to buy for fall time hunting in Alaska. I had very high expectations, and I have to say this tent exceeded them. First, I got a shipping notice within hours of ordering. Nobody ships that fast! It was 25 degrees today, so I decided to set the tent up. Setup (even without looking at instructions) is super easy and fast. The attention to detail in engineering is quite impressive. I am using a Mr. Heater -- heats up fast and stays very comfortable on low.

Outstanding Bit of Kit After getting familiar with them in the backyard, I finally got to test out the UP-5 and Caminus L for three nights overlanding and camping in the California Sierras. Temperatures dropped to the high teens at night and there was a brisk wind for the first night. This tent and stove combination is phenomenal and performed perfectly. The only issue was keeping the tent from becoming a sauna by damping down the stove, which is large enough to burn most or all of the night. The quality of materials, ease of setup (after a bit of a learning curve) and attention to detail (door, multi-layer windows, storage pouch, etc.) is simply outstanding. This is the best tent I have ever owned and I feel completely comfortable taking it into the most extreme winter environments and am looking forward to doing so. There was a Russian family in our group and they were mightily impressed!
UP-5 Winter Camping with Small Children This tent is truly a marvel. The materials are top quality and it is obvious that the engineers have thought of just about everything. I have been out 7 times this season with a 3 and 5 year old in 0-15F and no issues at all. The kids and I were toasty warm with a Caminus L stove, which allowed us to explore the great outdoors in cold weather knowing we have a warm and dry base camp to return to. We'll done RBM
Much cheaper than a house No mortgage. The UP-5 is marketed as �all season� and that is accurate: for hot tent winter camping it excelled, and on warmer nights it shaded and ventilated nicely. The tent with stove jack option gives it serious versatility.
Easy Setup Great tent. I love the double wall with mosquito nets for every opening. Took a while to figure out how to pop the tent up. Once you figure it out, it is very quick to setup. I am short so I have to pull the rod down and grab it further up to get the tent to lock in place. The door is awesome. Keeps the heat in and easy to get in and out of. My one critique is the awning rods seem very useless. We don not know how it is supposed to be used and it is too short to use by the door or the center. I keep them at home.

Outstanding build quality - perfect 4 season tent. As with all RBM products, the build quality of this tent is excellent and I believe it will last a long time.
Excellent tent with plenty of space Even having watched numerous reviews online about this product, I was still surprised by how big it feels inside. I personally am using it for family camping (two parents and two kids) and it has room enough for everyone. I recommend using Cots where possible, since it provides an added layer of storage in the tent. We also bought the Large stove that is designed for this tent and it works very well. It takes very little time for the temperature inside the tent to change. There are many access points (windows, vents, doors) which let you customize the temperature where needed. I would absolutely buy another one of these tents if anything ever happened to mine.

Nice really nice The only problem was getting it to lock in place. Meaning the rod you push up took 2 people . But once locked it worked great. Holds heat the well and extremely roomy for 2 men with cots and gear!!!
TOP BEST TENTS EVER !!! From the moment I unpacked it, this tent felt premium: thick material, sturdy frame, well-designed venting. The description says �all-season� and the reality matched � the four season hot tent label is justified. Adding a wood stove through the stove jack turned it into a cozy winter home.
Great quality After receiving the packaged set within days of ordering (across the continent in Edmonton, AB) I took it for a trial run in the rockies. It rained, it got hot during the day and almost freezing at night. Would not know in the tent, it worked great. Need to fine tune the stove to find the sweet spots to keep the temperature stable but I expected that. I notice that everything on the tent is well thought out. Nothing is where it is by accident and it is top quality.
Badass Tent! 100% AWESOME! This thing is a beast. Super warm, real four season hot tent for sure. We camped in like 10 degrees and the stove kept it hot inside. Bit heavy but that is ok, it is built like a tank. Worth every penny.
