Caminus M – Medium Wood Stove with Heat-Resistant Glass
The Caminus M is a medium-sized wood burning stove designed for heating winter camping tents and outdoor cooking. It delivers reliable heat, efficient combustion, and the comfort of a real fire inside your shelter.
The main feature of the Caminus M is its heat-resistant ceramic glass side panels. The 0.16” thick glass radiates warmth while adding natural light inside the tent. You can easily monitor the fire and wood level without opening the door.
The stove heats up quickly and works well for both warming your tent and preparing meals. From boiling water to cooking full outdoor dishes, it provides stable and even heat distribution.
The integrated spark arrestor improves combustion efficiency and enhances safety. The firebox is divided into two sections. The lower chamber burns wood or briquettes. The upper chamber burns off remaining gases, increasing fuel efficiency and reducing waste.
Four protective screens add extra safety: a bottom shield to prevent surface overheating, a rear shield to reduce wall heat, and removable side screens to protect the glass during transport.
Made from thick AISI 430 stainless steel, the Caminus M is built for repeated outdoor use. The sealed construction keeps smoke controlled and protects the glass panels.
Each stove ships in a durable wooden box and includes two replacement metal plates in case the ceramic glass needs to be swapped.
Suitable for winter camping and four-season tent setups. Available with delivery across the USA and Canada.

The Caminus S and M stoves are of the same model. However, their size and dimensions are different. When choosing a stove for your camping trip, pay attention to the size of the tent you plan on using the stove with. Caminus M is more suitable for medium-size tents. If you need help choosing the right stove size for your tent, feel free to contact our customer support team.
Of course, Caminus M is a very efficient stove. Heat-resistant ceramic glass offers superior heat emission compared to conventional steel and its working temperature reaches up to 1112° F.
Product safety is and always will be our top priority. Caminus M is equipped with 4 protective metal shields that protect users from accidentally touching hot surfaces. Additionally, the coil-type spark arrestor is built into the upper side of the firebox. It increases the efficiency of the stove, evenly heats the cooking surface, and protects the outer layer of the tent from sparks. The stove package includes 2 additional metal plates of the same size as ceramic glass plates, which can be used instead of glass in case the glass is accidentally broken.

Overall rating: 4.9 / 5 from 29 reviews.
A very good solid stove / heater is well packaged and very accessible and very easy to carry great product
Excellent quality tent and stove. Extra thought is put into all designs, and a little extra. The stove pipe should really come out the side wall too stop rain from coming through the ceiling hole.
No longer do we have to choose between ice fishing and comfort. We can have them both. This little stove is a little bundle of efficient warmth in the middle of a chilly landscape. I love this stove. It is incredibly well made and the box it comes in is tough enough to bounce around in the back of our toboggans over rough going.
If you want warmth that is efficient in extracting BTU's out of your firewood, I think you have found what you are looking for.
Great stove. Only did the initial burn in but could not use it anymore due to knee replacement.‘but I can tell you it looks like a quality product from the time I opened the box. I know I will enjoy it for years to come.
This wood stove was not only easy to set up and use but it kept me warm when I camped recently during winter weather AND I was able to cook my breakfast of bacon, eggs and hash browns in my cast iron skillet on its top. Being able to see the flames through the glass windows brought the "campfire" inside the tent. What a wonderful experience.
For winter or late Canadian Fall, as must
Easy to setup. Folding legs, glass view on both sides if you take the metal heat plates off. Use in early Fall. Got a little warm in tent, however that is the point. Turned down the flu and with hardwood log put in before going to sleep, was still generating heat in the morning.
This stove is really well done. Everything is quality.
Best Bot Tent stove You and Buy
We have used the a few time now and each time it gets better, I load it up about 11:00 and turn the drafter down and keep the tent perfect temp all night, and lots for coals the next morning. Best i have ever used. Highly recommend it.
Best Stove Yet!
This Stove performs so well! They think of everything and provide everything you will need in this kit. I've bought others that nickel and dime you for every part that RBM includes in this kit. From the box to the stove and all the extras, it is beyond worth the money. Makes the other brands not even seem competitive.
Amazing products and customer service
I have been a wilderness guide in the far north for 30 years and these are by far the best tents ever. Also the customer service is outstanding and they will go far beyond what they are required to in order to help you out.
Caminus M stove
I have not used yet. But I'm very very impressed with the quality of the stove. I could tell the company thought alot about their product by the way it was shipped. As soon as I use the stove I will post again!
Amazing stove and awesome shipping container
This stove is perfect for the RBM tent. Easy to use, quick to heat up, and the shipping container is reusable as a wood box, with the soft carrier giving plenty of space for the stove and its accessories.
Caminus M the real deal, true perfection
Totally love the Caminus M. We tent camp in the Coody 7 tent with the Caminus M. Inside the tent maintained temperatures at 78 to 82 degrees while outside was 22 degrees. Making it a very comfortable environment and experience. The stove size made it easy to get hours of sleep before having to add more wood. The added bonus of the view through the glass windows made it even more memorable and homelike. Additionally being able to cook on it and not ever having to go outside in the cold was a true blessing. The stove is sturdy and well built and has a beautiful appearance. Love this stove. Thank you RBM
No baffle required
Used the Hexagon with the Camius M and only needed to stoke the fire once through out the night. I thought the stove pipe needed a baffle in the pipe to slow the burn. I was wrong. It seals air tight so you can dampen the fire right down. It’s perfect for overnight winter ice fishing that we did in -20c. The tent is so large, with the glass in the stove it was like an open fire out camping. But in the tent. Super cool, but we were super warm!
This stove is amazing keeps the koala 7 very toasty, at one point I felt like I was in a sauna, this is the only way I will be camping. In would give it 10 stars. Once the stove is lit the view is great and heat spreads very quick.
Keeping yourself Toasty and your groceries Roasty
The stove is very well packaged in a nice wooden crate. Hang on to the foam bits. I used them when I put the stove in the sturdy carry bag. Extra padding.
As you lift it out of the crate, you can’t miss the sturdy construction. The legs pop out and are locked into place by spring buttons. The access door is held in tightly by the latch. The “double burner” is efficient and when your drafts are adjusted properly, your wood lasts a very long time. Proper adjustment reduces smoke down to nothing noticeable out of the chimney, Efficiency is increased and just a single log of wood keeps the stove at a good cooking temperature and the room plenty warm.
You’ll find that the glass window showing the glowing yellow flames is really a plus. The warm glow adds some pleasant ambiance to your space. You don’t need to expose both windows, just one that faces the “audience”. Keep the protection cover on the other one. It helps to radiate your heat more evenly in my opinion.
The top surface is plenty hot enough for coffee and soup, and you’ll have no problem cooking nearly every meal you can imagine. Wrap your Turkey legs in foil with seasoning, and place them inside your oven to cook. Potatoes, ears of corn and biscuits can be done the same way inside the stove. You’ll want to grab an outdoor cookbook to try various kinds of recipes on top of and in your stove. Don’t make just hamburgers. Try a meatloaf wrapped in foil with all your favorite spices and veggies. Cook fish, shrimp, crab and lobster not just chicken. This stove lets you expand your menu with very little trouble.
Here in Tennessee it gets in the teens and twenties very rarely. My winter experience is limited so far as our temps over night have been in the 40sF. If you’re not careful, you’ll find yourself in a sauna not a cozy room. They aren’t kidding about how the sizes of the stove relate to the size of your tent, or cabin space.
I expect that the quality of the build and the materials used will end up making this stove a family heirloom. Sturdy, tough, well designed, engineered and thought out. You can complain about price, but the quality and versatility are well worth it in my opinionion. We used to call it shopping for good value. Here it is.
