UP-2 is equipped with five-layer windows, which can be used for additional ventilation. However, if you want to make sure that the tent is thoroughly ventilated, you can always check out our camping fan. It is a great accessory that will help you maintain even temperatures inside the tent.
UP-2 is a great choice if you travel by car. However, if you want to install it in a more remote area, you’d need an ATV or snowmobile.
Precautions and recommendations
When assembling and reassembling the tent, be careful with the frame to avoid injuries.
Check tent layers before setup. The outer and inner layers may stick together during storage. Before setup, unfold the tent and separate the fabric so the layers slide freely. This ensures smooth assembly.
Choose a stable, level campsite. Do not set up the tent near dead trees, loose branches, power lines, steep slopes, or areas where water may collect.
Securely fasten the tent using all required pegs and guy lines.
In windy weather, do not set up the tent near trees. Do not set up or use the tent in sustained winds or gusts over 38 mph.
Provide continuous ventilation inside the tent, especially when using a wood stove.
Use a compatible wood stove only with the integrated stove jack and according to the stove manufacturer’s safety instructions. Stove sold separately.
Keep the stove, stove pipe, hot surfaces, and sparks away from tent fabric, gear, and bedding. Do not leave a burning stove unattended.
Ensure an unimpeded exit from the tent at all times.
It is forbidden to use gas, gas equipment, grills, or liquid fuel devices inside the tent.
The use of open flame sources outside of an approved compatible stove setup is prohibited inside the tent.

I have a up-5 but too big for me, at 74 too much to handle. UP-2 is perfect, i camp early spring, late fall and winter and where possible riverside and usually 14 days. The tent is awesome with the wood burning stove cold is not a problem. It has withstood 50mph plus winds in November fly fishing the North Platte (the Miracle mile/grey reef), woke up to 12" of snow in Salida, Co without issue provided it is staked and guyed properly. A vestibule for purchase would put it on the top shelf! I would recommend the UP series tent!

I have now used my UP-2 Tent in both winter and summer and can say without hesitation that it�s the best tent I�ve ever owned! The engineers thought of everything when designing this tent and it�s tough as nails! So glad I made the investment and hope to enjoy it for many years to come. I have owned many tents, but this dome hot tent feels like a small portable cabin. The double-wall construction creates an air layer that holds warmth incredibly well, and the stove jack works perfectly with my wood stove. The UP-2 is a heavy duty 4 season dome tent made for real outdoor conditions. The double-wall design prevents condensation and keeps warmth inside even in extreme cold. The stove jack allows safe heating, and the whole structure feels very secure and solid. You can tell it�s engineered for serious hot tent winter camping.
Outstanding Most comfortable tent ever made !!
Well I ordered the Up2 last week it arrived Tuesday,but was missing a few parts guy lines and the rod used to set it upright was broken maybe during shipping,I don't think it was anyones fault, but I only found out after setting it up on a tent platform and struggling to get it to stay up , long story short I was pretty upset that It was in the condition I received it in and contacted customer service at Rbm, talked to Tatiana and asked if they could explain to me how I could just fix it myself as I didn't want to be a burden, but they didn't want me to do anything except send it back and they would be sending me a replacement. Fantastic customer service!! & a fantastic overengineered amazing tent . I did get to spend one cold night inside it with just a diesel heater and let me tell you,the Up2 is an amazing feat of engineering, I stayed warm and comfortable with the heater on low ! I absolutely love this tent , everything is thought out , it's like God was listening to every gripe I had for the past 12 years of hot tenting and passed it on to the best and brightest at Rbm and they made it come true. yeah seriously I'm actually in love with this tent, everything is just so well thought out and I'm officially not going to bother looking for anything else,this tent is the best Hot tent I've ever seen or used in all of my years of hot tenting and winter camping . I ?m foot four inches and set this up alone without any issues. The umbrella-style mechanism is smart and sturdy. Once the guy lines are tight, the tent doesn�t budge. Great ventilation and well-placed pockets inside.
Got what I expected.
The tent met my expectations based on the ads. I am very satisfied with it. The quality, design and configuration are all second to none.
The only con to this tent is that it is quite challenging to open. It would be quite helpful if you provide detailed instructions on how to easily open it. IT OPENS LIKE AN UMBRELLA IS NOT ENOUGH!

2 up Russian bare tent
I love this tent eazy to set up made with high quality materials and came with extra stuff I didn't realize that came with it. A bit of a struggle to pop up the top up but worth the money I paid for it by far.
This tent is seriously overbuilt � thick fabric, solid frame, and smart vent placement. Yes, it�s heavy, but once it�s up, it feels indestructible. Stayed warm and dry during a weekend of freezing rain. If you�re looking for comfort and security, this is the tent.
Best surprise
I�m glad that we ordered the vestibule. It�s an amazing tent. It�s universal which is why. It�s big enough for 2 adults n a dog. We�ll be ordering the up2 for it. It maybe all season except, I found it to be water resistant. It did rain, it was cold n chilly. The rain still dewed up.
Best tent in the world I am sure. However, I really wish I could get the 10ft universal vestibule for the up series tent. I own both the up2 and the mini. If they ever come back in stock I would really like to know.

Top Quality
I am in the frigid 90 degree + temperatures of Florida and therefore set the new UP-2 and a titanium hot stove with an 11� stove pipe, up in my tall ceiling living room. So, can�t wait for my winter trip in the mountains. Easy to set up, however, takes some upper body strength to push it open. Very easy to take down. Top Quality. I do wish it included the small vestibule. I have inquired on,�how to purchase�.
Exactly as expected
I have only set up the UP2 as a means to inspect the product and have not used it in the field yet. I will have additional reviews on my YouTube channel during field use.
As a US buyer I have similar experiences with the instruction booklet. It is in a language I can't read but the pictures tell the story. To be fair, anyone who has ever set up a modern tent can set up this one with little difficulty. The plunger to expand the canopy came unscrewed while I was setting it up which caused me a LOT of grief. I was able to open the canopy by turning the tent on it is head and pressing down on the fixture but this caused some minor damage to the top of the umbrella where it rubbed on the ground. This is mostly user error but the damage to a new product is still a disappointment for me. Ensure you tighten the plunger before attempting to setup! I did notice that the umbrella was a challenge to press open the last few inches but feel that, with more use, this will become easier. The tent interior is a tad larger than I envisioned using a tape measure while the exterior foot print is deceptively small looking. I found there to be more interior room than expected even with an RBM cot set up but am cautious since I was not able to get a stove with my purchase so do not really know how much room that will soak up. I intend to get the floor, stove, water heater and fan accessories when they become available and I will also be researching cooling solutions for the heat of summer. If the tent can keep cold out, it can keep cold in when the temperature rises.
I will be using this as a basecamp shelter while I carve out a new homestead and expect it to be an extended 3 season shelter. The craftsmanship looks terrific and the folks at RBM have put a lot of thought into adding features needed while engineering those features to be tough and usable not just token chafe to check a box.
Up 2 tent
It was -12 degrees when I used it. Stayed warm till the wood burnt out.. going to use my propane buddy heater, at night. Extra # of propane sucks. It didn�t come with spark retarded floor mat no extra stakes
Better then I thought
The thing just works. Although I ai not been in any weather colder then 28F yet the thing did great. I also bought the matching stove from the website. I sleep every night in the cold with no blankets at all. My one complaint would be, it is not near as easy to set up as you might think. It takes a lot of effort. My first attempt I was already tired from bringing my stuff down to camp. I was pushing to open the umbrella so hard I started seeing a white light. Right about then my body gave out the thing folded up on me and I fell on my but inside a closed tent. Much like a Donald Duck cartoon. A second attempt an hour later was successful. Outside of that this tent has been second to none and a very good buy hands down the best.

Oustanding Service!
I cannot recommend this company highly enough. The customer service - from Tatiana - was second to none, replying to various questions by email usually on the same day (more than I can say for some other companies I've dealt with!). And their tents are of the highest quality and are justifiably reviewed very highly by various independent sources (several on YouTube).
First use was excellent
Very sturdy construction. Perfect portable man cave. Extra satisfied with the permanent mesh pockets that have been added compared to the reviews I have seen on YouTube. Also it seems like the original awning has been replaced with a door canopy? Have not tried it yet - but great if that is the case. It would be great if the instructions for set-up and take down of the tent were more explanatory. I highly recommend this tent if you can camp close to your 4x4 or snow mobile. Or if you have another solution for hauling the weight to the camp site.

Amazing Tent!
I�m only 5�5� and to set up the tent I attached a loop of paracord to the pole handle, held it down with my foot, and pushed up with both hands. I absolutely love this tent and the stove that goes with it!
Bought this for solo and duo camping with my dog. Fits a cot, small stove, and gear perfectly. The floor system is genius � keeps moisture out even on frozen ground. My dog refuses to leave once the stove is on!
