Description

Coody AirTarp Pro is a premium inflatable canopy shelter for flexible camp living. Use it as a zip-on extension for compatible Coody 17.2 Pro, 10.0 Pro, and Hub Pro AirTents, or set it up as a standalone shelter, camp kitchen, or lounge.

Made with Coody-developed AirPoly PU3000 fabric, AirTarp Pro is lightweight, breathable, and weather-ready. Its 4-point inflatable air-beam support structure helps create a stable walk-in space without traditional poles, while modular mosquito mesh panels improve airflow and insect protection.

AirTarp Pro sets up in about 10 minutes, inflates to 7 PSI, and offers a spacious 141.7 x 110.2 x 90.6 in layout for cooking, relaxing, and gear storage. Packed size is 28.3 x 16.5 x 16.5 in, with a shelter weight of 43 lb.

Before Use
Preparation and Setup
Set up Coody AirTarp Pro on level, raised ground, away from open flames, sharp objects, and trees with heavy snow buildup.
Plan to finish setup before dark.
AirTarp Pro does not include a floor. To keep the shelter area cleaner and more comfortable, we recommend using a groundsheet, mat, or camp rug underneath.
In windy conditions, secure the shelter with stakes and guy lines. Use additional anchoring when needed.
AirTarp Pro can be used as a standalone shelter, camp kitchen, lounge, or zip-on extension for compatible Coody AirTents.
Temperature Range
Suitable for outdoor use between 5 °F and 104 °F.
In cold weather, PVC air beams may become stiffer, making folding more difficult. This is normal and not a defect.
Air pressure can drop in freezing conditions, so check the frame regularly and top up if needed.
Air Pressure and Frame
Recommended inflation pressure: 7 PSI.
Make sure all valves are securely closed after inflation.
Do not overinflate. Recheck pressure when outdoor temperature changes significantly.
The 4-point inflatable air-beam support structure helps create a stable shelter when properly inflated and secured.
Heating and Ventilation
If using the stove jack, only use a compatible camping stove with a spark arrestor.
Never use open flames inside the shelter.
Always maintain proper ventilation to reduce the risk of carbon monoxide buildup.
Keep all heat sources away from fabric, mesh panels, air beams, and walls.
Safe electric heaters may be used with proper ventilation and supervision.
Condensation and Moisture
Condensation is natural in enclosed shelters, especially in cold or humid weather.
AirPoly fabric is designed to improve comfort and breathability, but ventilation is still important.
Keep mesh panels or vents slightly open when possible.
Increase indoor temperature gradually.
Use a groundsheet or mat under the shelter area.
Choose dry, well-drained ground when possible.
Always dry the shelter fully before packing.
Rain, Wind, and Snow Protection
AirTarp Pro is designed to help protect from sun, rain, and wind when properly set up.
For strong wind, use extra stakes and guy lines.
Do not allow heavy snow to build up on the roof. Clear accumulated snow regularly.
If zippers freeze, warm them gently with your hands or water. Do not force frozen zippers.
After rain, snow, or winter use, dry the shelter completely before storage.
Packing and Storage
Fully deflate the shelter before packing.
Cold weather can make PVC and fabric stiffer, so fold carefully.
Dry in a well-ventilated area and store only when completely dry.
Care and Use
Avoid wearing dirty shoes inside the shelter area.
Keep sharp objects away from the fabric, mesh panels, and inflatable frame.
Keep the shelter away from chemicals, acids, and flammable substances.
Mold and prolonged UV exposure can shorten product lifespan.
Clean and dry the shelter after each use.
Fire Safety
Use electrical devices with care.
Keep entrances clear for emergency exit.
Keep a fire extinguisher or other fire-suppression tool nearby when using heating equipment.
Do not allow children to play with fireworks or similar items near the shelter.
